Lady Gaga Fame Perfume Review!

Hello Dolls,
This is my second perfume review and it is on the worlds best selling perfume! FAME by Lady Gaga.

Click bellow to read the FULL review.

I bought this from Debenhams on its release day. After reading about the notes, seeing the advert, the design, the ‘black to clear technology’ I HAD to have it! I paid around £35 for it then but you can get it a bit cheaper now.

The packaging is VERY unique. It is very sleek, very alien, very cold and futuristic. I love it! I own and test a lot of fragrances and this is very different from the rest of the flock!

                                                                           The Bottle:

The bottle is ridiculously well designed. In fact it is pretty damn beautiful. In fact it puts a lot of ‘Modern sculptures’ (A pile of paperclips) to shame! It is a sturdy glass egg full of weird, jet black liquid being grasped by an alien claw. It is amazing.

A lot of people don’t realize the gold claw cap also doubles as a stand for the bottle! VERY clever design work Miss Gaga!
                                                                              The Scent:
The perfume envelops a DARK ACCORD inspired by Belladonna, the deadly nightshade possessed by haunted beauties since the 18th century. Burning incense veils the aura of forbidden fruit and creates a sweet, fatal seduction.
From this heart of darkness, the fragrance evolves to a SENSUAL ACCORD of opulence, a fusion of dripping honey, saffron and apricot nectar.
A LIGHT ACCORD whispers magnificence. The rich floral layer of crushed tiger orchidea & jasmine sambac embody timeless beauty.
Looking past the fancy wording it is a dark, sweet and heady floral. HOWEVER this scent smells completly different on different people AND smells different on different days…it is actually really weird. You smell different things on different days yet it still smells similar… it is very hard to explain but it is pretty amazing.

It’s lasting power is a bit disappointing lasts..just not as long as I’d like. It does cling better to my clothing though so it might just be my skin.  I still absolutely love it! In fact I have worn this practically every time I have gone out somewhere this past year. To me it is definitely a winter scent as it is so dark and cold but I love it all year round.
I’d love to give this 5/5 but due to its poorer lasting time I’ll have to give it 4.5. ( 😦 )
